''In 2000 my son Stuart and I started racing in the
Oval Track Legends Series and basically, we got
hooked!

From the 2002 season onwards we decided on taking a different approach and introduced the first commercial-lease package directed purely at British short oval tracks.

Pick Up Champion, Nic Grindrod, took the franchise on and ran with it for three years on both short ovals and long circuits, taking the car to numerous Championships and race wins.  News soon spread and we had to expand our team.  A trend which still continues today.

In 2006 Darron Lewis won the Oval Track Legends Rookie of the Year Championship along with the National Points
Championship in a car leased from Race Car Direct UK.''

progressed to buying their own race cars and more
followed suit in 2008.

Andy Hartwell came to Race Car Direct UK  midway through the 2008 season to finish a brilliant 2nd in the Rookie of the Year Championship.  He has now acquired a car of his own for 2009.''

Rob Preece: "This is the fresh liveried RCD car for my 2010 campaign.  Briefly, we began the strip down on October 31st and finally completed it on the 3rd January.  The car has undergone a complete nut and bolt rebuild and a full repaint.  Just short of the set-up and it's ready to go!''
